Fofo Afrique voyages is a tour company specialized in West Africa. We are based in Bamako, Mali. Together with local specialists, we offer a lot of possibilities for tours to Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Benin and Niger. Soon we will add Senegal and Togo to our site. We are specialized in individual tours. You can choose from one of our readymade tours, or design your own tailor-made circuit.
Fofo Afrique stands for a personal approach. We know the region thoroughly and organize tours in West Africa since 14 years. Because of this experience, we are able to adjust your tour fully to your wishes and interests. Also during the yourney, our experienced guides and tour leaders will consider your preferences where possible.
Responsible Tourism
In our vision, travelling means gaining new experience and with a good feeling. Travelling with fun is important and making fun is something you do together. For us that means travelling with respect and in cooperation with the host country. We strive for a good relationship between host and host country. We organize our tours in cooperation with the local people and with respect for local cultural values and nature. If you like, we will bring you in contact with local initiatives on the plan of development, social entrepreneurship and cultural expression. Together with the Voice of Africa foundation we work on development and promotion of West African art and culture. 2 % of the price of your tour goes automatically to the foundation. You are of course free to donate more.
Design your own tour
We designed some example tours for individual travelers and/or private groups. You will find them on this website. We did not add prices to the tours. In our experience everybody has his own wishes. A low-budget tour, more comfortable, or luxury. An easy going pace, or as much sightseeing as possible. Al is possible. We advise you to examine the example tours and inform us about your wishes. We will send you your tailor made quotation.
Tour operators
As tour operator you can let us design and organize your group tours and individual arrangements. Also for your groups and individual clients we will put in our expertise. Please ask for our readymade tours and confidential prices. Of course we offer you the possibility to adjust the tours anyway you like and to compose together with us your own unique product.
Bed & Breakfast
In our spacious villa with swimming pool in Bamako, Mali’s capital, we rent out rooms. U will stay in our own dwelling. The guests have their own terrace and entrance. You will enjoy a personal atmosphere as well as your privacy. Please read more at Fofo Bed & Breakfast.
Meals
As guest of the Bed & Breakfast you can use lunch and dinner with your hosts on demand. Besides that we organize dinners in our garden from time to time. On those occasion guest from outside are also invited. On those occasions there is often music or another activity
Cultural activities
With the Voice of Africa Foundation we wish to promote African art and culture. We do this in several ways. For example by organizing cultural soirées with music, dance and dinner on invitation or on demand. In our little shop we sell African products and from time to time we organize expositions.
Modou is musician and visual artist. With him and the cultural group, the Bantaba Ballet, you can participate in workshops drumming, dancing, batik, cooking and more.

Massages
